Using Bullinger’s King James Version Companion Bible (Kregel)
Bringing together a study related to the advent of 10 kings of the earth that will coincide with the “beasts” of Daniel’s vision.
Revelation [1:1] “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and He sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:”
Revelation [1:3] “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.”
This is an important topic to learn about since its significance is future tense, but to happen very soon. Daniel’s chapters show the detail for the learned students and followers of the true God.
To have this understanding gives each person to become sealed and protected from the destroyer of men’s souls, who is the one who makes desolation. This person is the anti-Christ, namely satan.
Why is this so important to understand though? This prophecy was given to Daniel through a vision, and he will write it all down just as he sees it all.
Interestingly, Daniel is quite adapt at interpreting visions, for he did just that for the King of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar when the king’s dream was presented to Daniel for interpretation (see Daniel [2]).
So even though Daniel cannot really understand the symbolisms used in this vision from God, nor comprehend the message of it, he will gain divine celestial help from the arch-Angel Gabriel later on as Daniel is confounded and troubled by the images he did see.
For this study, the focus is on the current earth age (the 2nd of a total of 3 total) and the advent of a earthly “beast” system that will arise.
The Book of the Apocalypse [“to disclose or reveal”, aka “Revelation”], contains apostle John’s witnessed account, as he is taken back in the spirit, to certain events of the first earth age (Revelation [ 12:1-6 ]).

For verses related to the 2nd heaven/earth age (eon), see Revelation [ 12:7-12 ], [ 13:1-18], [ 14:1-20 ], [ 15: 1-8 ], and [ 19: 1-19 ].
Also note that a special period of time at the very end of the 2nd heaven/earth age will occur. This period is the 1000 year long Millennium which is often referred to in the scriptures as “The Lord’s Day”. See Revelation [ 16: 1-20 ].
II Peter [3:8] “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

To make sense of the entire book of Revelation, it is essential to understand that the scriptures are written with reference to a total of 3 heaven/earth ages (eons). Today, the earth is experiencing the 2nd earth age, and the 3rd is yet to come about.
Yes, billions of years took place in the 1st heaven/earth age, but that age had to be stopped, so that the souls of God’s children could possibly be saved by accepting Jesus Christ, the Son of God, to enable the rebellious ones life eternal, foregoing the possible death that would have been necessary in the first earth age.

In certain scriptural verses, the beast that arises out of the earth will be referred to as the first version/edition of the beast. The first version of the beast will experience an expectedly deadly wound, but the arrival of the anti-christ (satan) will allow this “wound to one of the beast’s heads” to heal. Now, the beast will transform into a second version, with this version to include a religious component led by the supernatural anti-christ and his angels and center themselves in the Holy City of Jerusalem .
The duration of the anti-christ’s time on earth will be shortened. Originally, the anti-christ was to arrive in the middle of a 7 year period (84 months) as defined in the book of Daniel. However, this 42 month (3.5 year, or 1260 days) period is now shortened to 5 months, see Revelation [9:5]. This is explained below.
The term “beasts” is to identify governing systems of the earth that are made of multiple governing entities, and for the Revelation scriptures that we will cover, these entities will be referenced as “heads” and “horns”.
The beast’s “horns” symbolically allude to a power they possess as they have “crowns”.
Revelation [13:1] “And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.”
Revelation [9:1] “And the fifth angel sounded (the 5th trump), and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.”
[ed: Note how satan “falls” from Heaven (actually thrown out of Heaven to the earth by the archangel Michael, for there was no place found for him, any longer in Heaven (where is is now). However, he can go to the pit and open this place up and release his own angels that have followed him since the rebellion in the first earth age.]
Revelation [8:1] “And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.”
Revelation [12:9] “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels (locust) were cast out with him.”
Revelation [13:3] “And I saw one of the heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.”
[ed: Satan the false Messiah and company will “heal” that wounded “head”.]
Revelation [13:4 ]”And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?”
Daniel [9:27] “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate (making satan as the desolator), even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”
[ed: The beast rises out of the people of the earth (the sea). It has 7 heads (nations) and 10 horns (powers). The horns wear the “crowns” of authorities.
One of the heads is gravely wounded, but then healed.
Revelation [13:3] “And I saw one of the heads [of the beast] as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.”
A “star” falls from Heaven (this is satan) and he has authority to release his fallen angel to accompany him down to earth and he does arrive in the middle of the 5 month shortened time (which was originally a whole 7 years but shortened down to 5 months for the benefit God’s chosen Elect).
The Elect people are to witness against the false Messiah, with the Holy Spirit speaking the cloven language that all alive will be able to listen and understand, Whether those same ones who hear will then believe the testament of the Spirit speaking through the Elect is another matter though.
Heaven, not earth, is documented to be “silent” during this 1/2 hour because satan has been dispatched to the earth, by archangel Michael.
This 1 hour period is referred to as the “Hour of Temptation”.
So we have this understanding:
The first 1/2 hour occurs with the presence of the 10 earthly kings in their
governing powers. This system is the “first beast”, which exists prior to
the political system’s deadly wound.
The second 1/2 hour occurs with the presence of the 10 earthly kings, but
also with the presence of 10 angels (who are aligned with satan) arriving
with satan.
Satan will help restore the first beast system by amending this first edition
beast system to become the second edition of the same “beast” system
(“healing” the deadly wound of one of its “heads”).
This healing effect of one of the wounded head folds in together satan’s
religious influence.
Now, this healed second edition of the beast, as it occurs at satan’s arrival,
becomes in effect for the wide world, and under his leadership and self
ascension, he will lead to bring about a world-wide religious system.
Satan wants people to worship him as God he will deceive by acting as if he
is the true Christ, but he is a deceiver and most of the world will believe his
lying ways., and he is going to be quite effective on doing this for most
people of the world. It will be quite difficult to purchase, or sell without
being a “member” of his system.
This should remind you of the scriptures referring to the the “mark of the
beast”, that is in the right hand (work) and/or in the forehead (knowing).]
[ed: Knowing that there a beast will exist and that it will exist in 2 separate editions, we need to also know when and for how long this activity with the beast and the presence of satan playing the role of the anti-Christ.
[ed: As shown in Daniel [9:27], there is mention of the term “midst of the week“. Let’s define what these week(s) are about.]
These verses bellow show is original definition *BEFORE* the last 7 years were shortened to 5 months in total.]
Daniel 9:24 “Seventy weeks (490) are determined upon thy People and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.”
Daniel 9:25 “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks (49), and threescore and two weeks (434): the street shall be built again and the wall, even in troublous times.”
[ed: 70 x 7 = 490 years, 7 x 7 = 49 years, 7 x 62 = 434 years
434 (Christ cutoff) +49 (rebuild city) = 483 years,
490 -483 = 7 years (remaining unfulfilled).
454 BC – 483 years = 29 AD (year of Christ’s crucifixion).
The 7 years unfulfilled are last “week” of Daniel’s 490 “weeks”, and at the
end of this 7 years, the return of the true Christ to earth upon the Mount of
Olives.
70 sevens is same as (70 * 7 = 490) years. But as you can read above, 7 sevens (49 years) will be for the restoration of Jerusalem. This command was given in what is now called today’s calendar terms as 454 B.C.
Chronologically, in Nisan, 454 B.C., ASTYAGES (i.e. Artaxerxes = the “Great King”) issued the decree spoken of in Daniel [9:25]. Later, in the same year, Nebuchadnezzar’s “madness” was lifted off him.
Then after those 49 years were completed another 62 sevens (434 years) occurred and at that time, the Messiah (Jesus Christ) was removed (realizing his death by crucifixion) from the people.
The 7 sevens (49 years) began in 454 BC lasting until 405 BC.
The 62 sevens (434 years) began in 405 BC lasting until 29 AD.
69 sevens in total (7 + 62) have historically already occurred but we can read above (in Daniel [9:24]) that a total of 70 weeks must occur before there is everlasting righteousness at the return of Christ.
So as of today, there has been 69 “weeks” accomplished, with 1 “week” remaining to yet be accomplished.
Think of this remaining 7 year “week” time span being split at the middle into 2 equal parts, each “half” of the week being 42 months in duration for a total of 84 (2*42) months.
In this particular 7 year “week”, the first half period occurs, then a disruption at the middle, then the second half period occurs.
In the context of a whole “week” of years (7 years, or 84 months), the first edition of the beast was to originally occur during the first half of the 7 years, a total of 42 months. The second edition of the beast was to occur during the second half of the 7 years, a total of 42 months.]
[ed: Notice that while the original 7 week period was to occur, this “week” of years (7) was shortened into 5 months total. In other words, 6 years, 7 months were removed from the original 7 year duration.
This was done for the benefit of the chosen Elect that will be alive at that period of time, the “Hour of Temptation”.]
Mark [13:20] “And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.”
[ed: But where does it say that the shortened time is now just 5 months long?]
Revelation [9:5] “And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.”
[ed: Satan’s angels have the ability to spiritually “sting” the people of the earth who DO NOT have the understanding of the manner in which the earth will come to worship the false Christ, satan, and this time to continue was shortened from 7 years to 5 months total length.]
Now, we will walk through some scripture verses to see what is written for our understanding of God’s knowledge.
Revelation [4:1] “After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.”
[ed: Above, this is going to be the 1st vision provided to John while living on the island of Patmos. The scripture he wrote down, will make back-references and also expanded definitions found within various prophecies found in the biblical books of Daniel, Joel, Amos, Zechariah, Ezekiel, and so forth.]
[ed: This is a vision is provided to Daniel by God, for Daniel will write it down the vision, even though he does not grasp all of the symbols and conversational references of this vision is about.
In a vision provided from God to Daniel, he gets to hear from Gabriel of what this vision means.]
Daniel [8:1] “In the third year of the reign of King Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even unto me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.”
[ed: From verses [ 8:2 ] through [ 8:14 ], Daniel sees a certain vision, and does not understand what it represents.]
Daniel [8:16] “And I heard a man’s voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.”
Daniel [8:19] “And he (Gabriel) said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.”
[ed: Gabriel specifies that this vision concerns the end of times of this earth age, up until the Millennium period which is the “Lord’s Day” of 1000 years). The indignation of the false Messiah pretending to be the true God will come to an end.]
Daniel [9:21] “Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation,”
Daniel [9:24] “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. “
Daniel [9:25] “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.”
[ed: 69 weeks of the 70 weeks, this leaves 1 week “unassigned” to this time.]
Daniel [9:26] “And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for Himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.”
[ed: Note that this “prince” above is not the true Jesus the Christ, but the fake prince, the anti-Christ satan, the spurious Messiah.]
[ed: The word “street” (Daniel [9:25]) means an plaza or broad area. Could very well be the second temple’s “camp” area as it was called.
This “seventy weeks” in Daniel [9:24] are 70 sevens in the Hebrew manuscript. It represents the number of years from whence the command begin restoring Jerusalem to the day when the Messiah is to be “cutoff” from the people.
70 sevens is same as (70 * 7 = 490) years. But as you can read above, 7 sevens (49 years) will be for the restore of Jerusalem. This command is found in Ezra [4:17], and the command was given in what is now called today’s calendar terms as 454 B.C.

[ed: Below is the anti-christ (satan) setting up the 2nd edition beast in the middle of the the 70th seven (7 years) for we know that 69 sevens (483 years) have already been accomplished.
Does satan’s arrival occur in the middle of the “week”? Yes, he does arrive to earth de facto, and in person, in the middle of the last “week” of years – see verse Daniel [9:27] below.
Daniel [9:27] And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Revelation [13:3] “And I saw one of the heads [of the beast] as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.”
Daniel [8:25] “And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.”
[ed: He is quite proud and believes he can and should be respected as the god of all ( see Ezekiel [28] ).]
[ed: “stand up against the Prince of princes” – meaning this fellow will stand against Jesus Christ and instead make himself great above all others. When Jesus returns to earth, this anti-Christ (satan) will be put in his place without the works of mankind.
With the “week” shortened to a total of 5 months from 7 years, satan’s arrival at the advent of the first beast’s deadly would which is at the middle of the shortened “week” (the week (7 years, shortened to 5 months), he will take up the role as the instead-of-Christ (or anti-Christ).
His total time on Earth trying to get all people to worship him as God time will be for 2 1/2 months (75 days). As said before, this period of 2 1/2 months is the second “1/2 hour”.
Revelation [9:3] “And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.”
Revelation [9:5] “And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.”
[ed: These 1260 days are shortened to protect the Elect who do know the truth of satan deception and who make a stand against the 2nd beast.
These scorpion-like men will cause great harm to those who oppose them and do not have the seal of God to protect them from their spiritual attacks. Satan will arrive during the middle of the 5 month period of tribulation, and he ceases the daily oblation while he sits upon on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount.]
Revelation [9:10] “And they had [have] tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.”
Revelation [9:11] “And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.”
[ed: Notice how these “locusts” that leave behind a wasted desolation, they have a king. Satan is that ruling authority, the leader of spiritually stinging and devouring fallen angles, and the ignorant people of the world will adore the blasphemous religion they bring, and the kings will be glad, for their beast lives on.]
[ed: Abaddon is “Destroying Angel” as per Strong’s concordance # G3, originating from Strong’s # H11, while Apollyon is “Destroyer” as per Strong’s # G623.
So how does the scriptures imply that satan will arrive in the middle of the 5 months ?]

The disruption in the middle of the 7 years is the deadly wound to the first beast, and then that “deadly” would that occurs to the first beast is amazingly “healed” by the advent, the actual appearance of the “little horn” anti-christ, namely satan himself. He arrives to help that initial political system revive itself into a religious based world wide governing authority.
This 7 year period of the 2 beasts is now to only last 5 months. There is still the structure of having 2 halves, but now each half is 2 1/2 moths in duration, or 75 days each.
The very same actions, the very same result as was originally defined of the 7 year period will occur, and satan will be able to call himself as a god before all of the people, many will be deceived accordingly since they are not aware of how satan was to appear before the true Christ Messiah, and they will unfortunately mistake satan for their god and this will continue on from the
second half (75 days) until the true Christ arrives at the very last Trump, the 7th Trump.]
Revelation [13:12] “And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.”
The first advent of Christ appearance has been accomplished when he was born and walked upon the earth.
The second advent of Christ’s appearance occurs at the very last Trump, the 7th Trump. This will end the reign of the anti-Christ, and from thereon there will begin the last 1000 years of this earth age, often referred to as the “Millennium”.
At this point, we know of the last “week” of years, we know of the time being shortened, and we know of the 2 beasts, including the arrival of satan in the midst of the shortened “week” period.
So now, let’s see how all of this ties in with the 10 kings of the earth who do reign at the same “hour” as with the anti-Christ, satan.
Importantly, one must realize that the “healed” beast defined above is shown in the book of Daniel to be one of 4 earthly “beast” systems.
The beast that will occur has 10 horns (kings), with an additional approaching little horn (anti-Christ) will be used as a basis to recover from the deadly wound of one of the “heads” (nations). that make up he beast.
The 4th beast (10 earthly kings) arises out of the sea (of people). This 4th beast is the beast that will have 7 “heads” and “10” horns” that wear “crowns”.
Daniel [7:1] “In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions on his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream and told the sum of the matters.”
Daniel [7:3] “And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.”
Daniel [7:4 ]”The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: …
Daniel [7:5] “And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, …
Daniel [7:6] “After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, …
[ed: Starting at Daniel [7:7], one can find a vision concerning the 10 kings of a fourth beast.]
Daniel [7:7] “After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.”
[ed: This 4th beast is different than the prior 3 beasts of:
1st beast – Daniel [7:4] (Lion with wings = Babylon)
2nd beast – Daniel [7:5] (Bear = Esau AKA Rossiya/Russia)
3rd beast – Daniel [7:6] (Leopard = Cain’s offspring)
Each of these 3 beasts represents a certain world encompassing governmental controlling power in their own moment in history.
You can certainly consider each of them to have adversarial relations to the true Israelite people, the elect and unto all true Christian followers of the living God.
Once each of the 3 beasts arose in their advent, they continue until the very end of this earth age to be an ongoing adversary to the followers of YHVH. Now the 4th beast will have its moment in history for a short while, it also being another adversary.
Already, this 4th beast is described as having 10 horns or “kings”. This is similar to the beast of Revelation [17:12]. The ten kings are same as those symbolically found in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream that had a ten toed image created out of various materials, with each of the toes made of a mixture of clay and iron. This 4th beasts is comprised of 10 various governing powers, and 3 of them will be harmed by this 4th beast.]
Revelation [17:12] “And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.”
[ed: The fourth beast of Daniel is now referred to as the 1st edition of the beast of Revelation, the same that will have one of its “heads” suffer the Deadly Wound. “One Hour” is the shortened period of 5 months, instead of the previous period known as two 3 1/2 years in Daniels’ vision (or 7 years of Daniel’s 70th week). A half hour would be 2 1/2 months, or 75 days.
Do the 10 kings exist before the arrival of satan (little horn) ?
Yes they do – they are the secular, governmental order of the beast (as it will exist then).
One of the interesting things about Daniel 7 is that there are “3 kings” that are mentioned 3 times in this chapter:
verse [7:8] (plucked) is the first mention, also
verse [7:20] (fell), then lastly
verse [7:24] (subdued).
Daniel [7:8] “I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.”
[ed: The little horn has arrived with a mouth and eyes since “it” is actually a person – satan himself, now in the role of the anti-Christ. Satan has arrived in the middle of the “week” of 5 months.
There are 10 kings on Earth and a little horn (satan) has arrived and 3 of the 10 kings are “plucked”.
The 3 kings may be “plucked” by exercising their own will to stand away from the little horn and the other 7 kings.
May also be that these 3 kings will be “plucked” against their will. Nevertheless, as we will read later in Daniel [7:24] that they are indeed “subdued”.
Daniel [7:9] through [7:15] describe the return of Jesus and how the 4th beast is removed from its existence – itself “plucked” away forever while the little horn (satan) goes into quiet captivity until the very end of the Millennium period.
Daniel [7:15] through [7:18] document how Daniel has his vision explained out further by God so Daniel’s troubled understanding would be comforted.]
Daniel [7:19] “Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet;”
Daniel [7:20] “And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.”
Daniel [7:21] “I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;”
[ed: The little horn (who has eyes and makes war with the saints) will convincingly bring most Christian believers towards his desire to be worshiped as the Messiah. Satan wants people to give him high honor and respect to his authority.
He cares nothing for the people who provide any such, it is all a big lie, but people will flock in great ignorance since they have not be taught, nor have they sought after the truth of God’s words that they should be awake and on guard, to stand up against the fake messiah as he sits in Jerusalem.
In Daniel [7:23], (below) the 4th beast will succeed to cover the entire world in its power. Now God is explaining to Daniel what these tings that he wrote down while watching the vision in the earlier verses.]
Daniel [7:22] “Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.”
Daniel [7:23] Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
[ed: Daniel [7:23] having similar description of the 4th beast as in Daniel [7:7].
Daniel [7:24] And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
[ed: The 10 kings just as explained in Revelation [17:12].
[ed: Both of these verses use the word “diverse” to denote a change or alteration from the former. Both the 4th beast and the little horn are unlike their predecessors. When the little horn arrives he will be able to “pluck”, humble (“fall”), and “subdue” 3 of the 10 kings.
In Daniel [7:8] , it says that this fellow (satan) will speak great things – about what & for how long?]
Daniel [7:25] And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
[ed: “A time (1), times (2), and the dividing of time (half)” are a total of 3 1/2 years. This period is since shortened to be 5 months, with satan arriving in the midst of the 5 months, for the last 2 1/2 months.
Remember that the 70th week (below) will be future tense and will be thus shortened to be 5 months.

[ed: As we saw above, the 7 years, cut into 2 joined periods of 3 1/2 years each are when the anti-Christ will appear in the very middle of those 7 years (70th seven). That whole 7 year period has been shortened to be 5 months now, with the anti-Christ approaching towards Jerusalem, in the very middle of the 5 months.
He will “cure” the deadly would of the first version of the beast, making a second version beast that looks a lot alike the first beast, yet that new governing system will have extraordinary religious and commerce powers.
To buy and sell, a person will need to accept this little horn’s system, to worship him, giving him respect to his authority and high honors, complete obedience and reverence.
Don’t ever work with this second beast system nor worship the false Messiah, especially if you know the words of God’s scripture related to this mater. It would be about the very worst offense a child of God could make against the true God, our Father.]
Revelation [13:8] “And ALL that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
Revelation [13:13] “And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.”
[ed: Yes, satan is gifted to bring some supernatural powers, and people just will not be able to withstand the lying deceptions, the peer pressure of others close and afar, and the inability to understand how satan will be able to achieve so much in front of their own eyes.
The days of the original 7 years were shortened to 5 months for the benefit of His chosen Elect people, as even could be at risk of being deceived while realizing that who he really is.
Revelation [13:14] “And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles [signs] which he had power [it was given him] to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.”
Daniel [9:27] And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
[ed: Mentioned again is the anti-Christ (satan) setting up the 2nd beast in the middle of the the 70th seven (7 years) for we know that 69 sevens (483 years) have already been accomplished.
Satan will indeed see that the daily oblation ceases upon his arrival in the middle of the “week” (7), which is now the middle of a shortened 5 month period.
At this point, we know of the last “week” of years, we know of the time being shortened, and we know of the 2 beasts, including the arrival of satan in the midst of the shortened “week” period.
Satan will arrive along with 7000 of his close fallen angels (who left the habitat and refused to be born through woman in this Earth age. Upon leaving and coming to Earth, they lost all chance of God’s salvation and instead will then die in the streets of Jerusalem upon reaching the time of the 7th Trump (the return of Jesus to Earth). This time Jesus will be recognized by all on Earth, every knee will bow to him, and he will be known as King of kings, and Lord of lords forever and ever.]
Revelation [11:13] “And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.”
So now, let’s see how all of this ties in with the 10 kings of the earth.
Daniel [12:5] Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
Daniel [12:6] And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
Daniel [12:7] And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
[ed: The river mentioned in Daniel [12:7] is the Tigris river. Satan playing the role of the anti-Christ has the second half of the 7 year period (3.5 years) but now, due to the shortened period of 5 months, he has just the second half of that 5 months, which is 2 1/2 months.]
[ed: Daniel has heard the “power of the holy people” in this preordained 1260 day (3 1/2 year) period will cease to be, those that are not able to withstand the upcoming change of the 1st beast system into the 2nd Beast political/government system involving the powers of Religion and Commerce.]
[ed: The 2nd Beast looks similar to the failed 1st Beast (deadly wound), but has the 2 horns of Commerce and Religion. Nothing new about satan setting up his government since the “king of Tyre” (Ezekiel 28) in the very 1st Earth age was involved in corrupt religious and business practices.
Nothing new under the sun.]
[ed: In the 2nd Beast, it happens again. Such great prosperity to all who join up with satan’s system, and all done with such great religious fervor.
A world wide governmental political entity that has powerful religious and commercial agencies, who can fight against that? The Elect will for they know this fake king and his ways. God’s spirit will fill the head of any Elect who makes a stand against the anti-christ, and God’ words will be heard by all people who listen as the Elect will be speaking with the Spirit’s cloven language. No matter what people hear, they will understand what is said by the Elect peoples.]
[ed: Here is the anti-christ (satan) setting up the 2nd edition beast in the middle of the the 70th seven (7 years) for we know that 69 sevens (483 years) have aleady been accomplished.
Before we begin to review and explain the scriptures involved in this subject of the 10 kings, we should have the basic understanding of how the associated last “week” (7 years) of Daniel’s 490 years (70 of 7’s) has been shortened to 5 months (or as 150 days).
Even though the “week” of 7 years is shortened, there will still will be a disruption that occurs in the middle of the time span. As originally explained in scripture, this disruption would have occurred in the middle of the last 7 years, or at 3 1/2 years (equal to 42 months or 1260 days).]
Revelation [9:5] “And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.”
[ed: Whenever the 2 witnesses are killed in the broad area of Jerusalem’s temple, this Earth age will stop in 3 1/2 days. The 7th trump occurs and the true Messiah, Jesus Christ, will be back with us on Earth. All others alive then, will be transformed into our spiritual bodies, in the twinkling of an eye.]
I Corinthians [15:52] “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
[ed: The Elect into their immortal bodies, they arise first, the first resurrection. Others (the “dead” meaning spiritually dead) needing further salvation will still be able to achieve immortality as well towards the very end of the Millennium, to wit occurs the Great White Throne of Judgement for all.]
Matthew [24:15] When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Matthew [24:21] For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Matthew [24:22] And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
Matthew [24:23] “Then if any man shall say unto you, ‘Lo, here is Christ,’ or ‘there,’ believe it not.”
Matthew [24:26] “Wherefore if they shall say unto you, ‘Behold, He is in the desert;’ go not forth: ‘Behold, He is in the secret chambers;’ believe it not.”
[ed: WIll the false messiah approach Jerusalem from the desert Isaiah[10:28] ?
Will he reside in a temple with secret chambers? (Ezekiel [8:3]) ? ]
[ed: In Jesus’ own spoken words, along with those written down by Daniel or John as provided from God’s Spirit, we are taught about the false anti-christ coming towards the city (holy place of Judea) for his shortened rule.]
